Alpianæ 2018 Wins Gold Medal In Muscat Du Monde 2022

Vignalta Alpianæ 2018 passito wins the gold medal at the 22nd edition of Muscat du Monde International Wine Competition.

Alpianæ 2018, passito produced from Moscato Fior d’Arancio grapes, also wins the third place among the best ten muscat in the world.

Muscat du Monde is an international wine competition that aims to recognize and reward the best wines from Muscat grapes.

Vignalta has been awarded, in the previous editions of Muscat du Monde, with the gold medal for the passito Alpianæ 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, always being among the top ten Moscato wines in the world.

Alpianæ is obtained by drying the grapes for about four months and subsequent fermentation in tonneaux; produced by Vignalta since 1989, it was the first passito made from Moscato Fior d’Arancio grapes from the Euganean Hills, thanks to which the current DOCG was born.
